Shabbat evenings

Our Shabbat evening services are inviting and full of music! All evening services conclude with Oneg Shabbat – a time for noshing and socializing with each other.lighted menorahs

Kabbalat Shabbat/Welcoming Shabbat
7:30 Regular Shabbat Friday evening worship.

Simcha Shabbat/Celebration Shabbat
3rd Shabbat each month
Regular Shabbat Friday evening worship with special blessings for those with birthdays and anniversaries and other simchas!

Tikkun Shabbat/Study Shabbat
1st Shabbat each month
A brief Shabbat Saturday morning service with a shortened Torah reading and in-depth Torah and
text study. This will run from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. and a light lunch will be served afterward.

Soulful Shabbat Service
4th Shabbat each month
A service-centered around meditation and the singing of niggunim (Jewish chants/melodies). A space for the practice of spiritual and healing tools within a supportive community.

5th Shabbat Shenanigans!
We will share special programming each time there is a 5th Shabbat in a month.

Shabbat mornings & Havdllah

We offer a variety of services for all ages!

Shabbat Minyan
2nd Shabbat each month / Co-led by Rabbi Winship
& Cantorial Soloist Howard Worona
Our regular Shabbat Saturday morning service with Torah reading.

Binei Mitzvah Group
2nd Shabbat each month – 10:30 a.m.
We invite our 4th through 7th-grade students to join us for Shabbat Minyan followed by a Family Tikkun (Family Torah Learning)

 

 

PJ Tot Service and Havdalah
2nd Shabbat each month – 4:00 p.m.
A small service for our youngest and cutest members. We will share a story, sing together, and join together for havdallah and dinner. Siblings welcome!

Tikkun & Minyan of Learners
3rd Shabbat each month
A brief Torah study followed by an in-depth exploration of the texts and traditions surrounding our prayers. A light lunch will be served afterward.
