All the people saw the sounds and the flashes, the blare of the horn and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they fell back and stood at a distance.
May all of America, and all humankind, be wise enough to enjoy the fireworks, celebrations, and reality shows when appropriate but base their actions on the universal divine injunctions summarized in Leviticus: And you shall love your neighbor as yourself.
